Braising steak in a creamy mustard sauce

Our Beef Stroganoff features tender braising steak and mushrooms in a rich, creamy soured cream sauce, delicately seasoned with garlic, mustard and black pepper. Served with fluffy basmati rice, it's a comforting classic that's freshly prepared and cooked here in Torquay.

Oven from frozen: 180°C (fan 170°C), Gas Mark 5, for 60-65 minutes.

Microwave from frozen: 700W 12.5 mins, 800W 11 mins, 900W 10 mins. Stand for 2 minutes.

Ensure product is piping hot throughout before serving. Do not reheat more than once. Appliances vary — this is a guide only.

The Beef was soooo tender and the stroganoff Sause was delicious.

In the past I have enjoyed this dish with large slices of meat but today it was awful. It was far too salty, very thin sauce, only a couple of tiny pieces of meat with large slices if mushroom. I also found a small thin piece of plastic which I can only presume was wrapped around the meat.
