Rich red wine sauce, French farmhouse comfort

Our Chicken Bourguignon is a comforting French-inspired classic, made with tender British chicken thigh, smoky bacon and mushrooms in a rich red wine sauce. Served with potatoes and seasonal vegetables, and infused with thyme and bay leaves, it's freshly prepared and cooked here in Torquay.

Oven from frozen: 180°C (fan 170°C), Gas Mark 5, for 60-65 minutes.

Microwave from frozen: 700W 11 mins, 800W 9.5 mins, 900W 8.5 mins. Stand for 2 minutes.

Ensure product is piping hot throughout before serving. Do not reheat more than once. Appliances vary — this is a guide only.

Not the best meal I have had so far. I was disappointed the chicken in the Mini Chicken Bourguignon wasn’t cut into bite size pieces not leave two large pieces of chicken also there were no button mushroom in mine they were large sliced mushroom.

Very tasty, but said it had milk and I did order dairy free. I was still very impressed by the fresh taste of it, that’s not easy with frozen mashed potato.
